How to Play the Nordic Heroes Slot
To set your bet, all you need to do is choose a line bet value. Whichever one you choose is multiplied by 30, which is the number of paylines that are in play. • Norse Theme. The slot’s inspired by Scandinavian culture and folklore. It features two warrior characters and a horde of fantastic creatures that engage the warriors in head-to-head battles. • Character Picker. The slot has two characters: Thora the archer and Ragnar the hammer-wielder. When you start playing, the Thora character is the only one available. Reach Level 3 and Ragnar unlocks, then you can switch between the two at will. Each character performs differently in battle, has different weapons to use and has a few special symbols associated with him/her. Whatever character you choose, your chances of winning will be the same. Click on the character icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen to switch between characters.
   
• Realm Picker. When you start playing, the slot’s realm is the Forest Of Fortune. Reaching Level 5 unlocks the second realm, Sea Of Glory. Once you’ve unlocked the second one, you can switch between the two by clicking on the compass symbol in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Each realm offers unique backgrounds both in the base game and in the Battle Bonus feature, as well as unique monsters to fight, free spins features and symbols. Just like the characters, both realms offer pretty much the same long-term payout rates.

Nordic Heroes Bonus Features

• Mystery Multiplier Reel. If you win but don’t trigger the Battle Bonus, there’s a chance the Mystery Multiplier Reel feature will come into play. If it does, a multiplier reel appears and awards you with a multiplier of a random value that’s then applied to your wins. The values of the multipliers depend on your level and are as follows:
   
  • Levels 1-5: x2, x4, x6, x8, x10, x12, x14, x16, x18 or x20.
  • Level 6: x2, x4, x6, x8, x10, x12, x14, x16, x18 or x25.
  • Levels 7-8: x2, x4, x8, x10, x20, x25 or x30.
     
• Battle Bonus. The Battle Bonus symbol shows two swords forming an X over a shield. Land this symbol on reels 1, 3 and 5 to receive a payout worth twice the value of your total bet and play the Battle Bonus feature. You keep on getting free spins until your character runs out of health or you defeat three monsters. After every spin, your character takes on a foe.
   
• Forest Of Fortune Battle Bonus. If you’re playing with the Forest Of Fortune realm, your character takes on the wolf in round 1, the boar in round 2 and the dark elf in round 3. During round one, each spin produces one roaming wild on any of the first four reels. During round two, this wild has an x2 multiplier. During round three, it has an x4 multiplier. Defeat all three foes and you’ll win 1, 2, 5 or 10 Victory Spins that are played with the x4 multiplier wild in effect on every spin.
   
• Sea Of Glory Battle Bonus. If you’re playing with the Sea Of Glory realm, your character takes on the crab in round 1, the squid in round 2 and the sea serpent in round 3. During round one, one random reel is fully wild on every spin. During round 2, the same happens but only reels 1, 2 and 3 can become fully wild. During round 3, reel 5 is fully wild for every spin, along with one of reels 1, 2, 3 or 4.
